Hi!

here's a bit more about me:

I consider myself lucky to be an Anchor and Correspondent for WTTW's nearly 40-year running nightly news affairs program, Chicago Tonight as well as Chicago Tonight: Black Voices, both on the city's PBS affiliate. In my 20 years of experience, I've worn many hats--from traffic reporter to beauty writer to news anchor. My work has also taken me from my hometown in Mississippi to New York City--and any number of cities in between. I've covered the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and the historic 2008 Presidential Inauguration. I've had the privilege of interviewing history-makers, from the Little Rock Nine to former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice--as well as men sentenced to live the rest of their days behind bars. I've interviewed celebrities and hosted TV awards shows. This career has given me the opportunity to hear and share some of the most important stories of our nation, I consider it a privilege to be able to do so. I can't wait to tell the next story.
